3rd Annual AWAKENING, October 10-12

AWAKENING 2008:

WHERE: Will be held at RWCF Greer, SC
                  (1846 Old Highway 14 South)
WHEN:     October 10,11,12
THEME:    Motorcycles, Music, & Miracles

SPEAKERS:
Pastor Fred Zaricny (founder and International Elder, Bikers for Christ)
Pastor Jamie Bertolini (SC state elder, Bikers for Christ)
Will Radford (former 1%er, now Heaven's Saint M/M)
Rey Perez (BFC, minister & musician)

MUSIC:
RWCF Praise Band & Guests
(7 bands scheduled)

Church will provide lodging for out-of-town BFC members who pre-register by OCT 3.

Thanks for all the responses about this year's event. If you have never attended before, here's a few facts and a brief agenda.

-There is NO COST to attend
-This is a family-friendly, alcohol-free event
-Primitive tent camping is permitted
-A limited number of beds are also available in member's homes for those who RSVP before Oct 3.

FRIDAY Evening: 5PM

-Early arrivals reception (location: RWCF)
-"Out-of-Towners" will be matched up with "locals" for accomodations
-Food and fellowship (6pm Pizza arrives)
-Meet and get acquainted with Pastor Fred Z. and other BFC'ers

7:30pm Welcome & Opening Service
Special Guest Testimonies \ Flaming Swords Ceremony
-Will Radford - former 1%er, now a member of Heaven's Saints MM
-Rey Perez - minister & musician, travelled with Barry Mayson for 15 years

RWCF Praise Band & Special guest musicians

SATURDAY:
8am Breakfast at A&P restaurant (this is not free)
9am Registration for SC "FALLEN BIKER" BENEFIT POKER RUN
-Cherokee Trikes & More: Highway 14, Greer SC
-$20 registration fee: donation to FBFund (checks payable to RWCFFBF)
-childcare will be available at the church (if you RSVP)

10am-2pm SC "FALLEN BIKER" BENEFIT POKER RUN

1pm BBQ LUNCH
(free - but ministry donations will be gladly accepted)

12-5pm LIVE music, games, door prizes, 50/50 drawing, Bloodmobile will be onsite for donations, SC Army National Guard rock-climbing wall, and much more!

5pm Youth activity: 6th graders and above, going to CORN MAZE (cost $12)

6-9pm Cruise-In Car & Bike Show (A&P Restaurant parking lot)

BIKER SUNDAY!
8am-9:30am Pancake Breakfast at A&P restaurant
9am Fellowship and Greeting time

10am-noon Sunday Morning Praise & Worship
-music by RWCF Praise Band
-Fred Z will be sharing his slides from the Sturgis trip
-Jamie Bertolini will share a relevant and timely message from God
-BFC new member induction and patching ceremony

Followed by "old-fashioned dinner-on-the-grounds"
-great food provided by families of RWCF
-Famous SC slow-cooked BBQ by "Big Wayne"
-games for kids
-music, fellowship, and fun for all

3pm Prayer for Healing service (James 5:14-15)
-we ask for those among you who are sick, afflicted, oppressed or needing a special touch from God come before the elders and ministers of the church (and BFC chapter elders from around the country) to be annointed with oil, and prayed over. There is no magic here or nothing we can do for you as mere men...but we will ask the one we server, GOD Almighty, to do a work in you and to minister to your need.
-prayer for travelling mercies for all who will be on the highways travelling home
-prayer for our country: including our leaders, upcoming elections and our troops
-prayer for our church: including leadership, and every member of the body
